For the first time in my life I have seen such an interesting battle that helped keep the shores of beautiful Salcete clean.
AAP volunteers versus Churchill Alemao's group, speared by his nephew, is not new to us. They've already been in the news for a physical battle, allegedly hurting each other over posters. This time they've shown their physicality in a positive way, and Goa is winning this battle now.
AAP and Churchill's group both claimed to have collected several bags with tar balls. This fight managed to clean two beaches on the same day. Even though it is visible that this is happening due to the fast approaching Assembly polls, it was good to see Goa getting a breather from trash.
Hats off to the youngsters and forever vibrant Saxtikars for turning up on a short notice and getting a vital job done on a humid day.
Whatever the 'multiple' agenda might be, these groups need to be appreciated and I hope these kind of healthy battles showing strength continues and help our State ahead.
