This is to request the R T O and the Kadamba Transport Corporation to kindly start a bus service from Curchorem to Margao Via Cuncolim and vice versa. Such a bus will be a great help to students studying in colleges in Curchorem, Quepem, Navelim and Margao.
The bus service should start from Curchorem and Margao at 7.15 am in the morning and return trips at 1.45 in the afternoon with a trip in the evening at 5.45pm. The Bus would cater to the needs of people staying in Curchorem, Ambaulim, Cuncolim, to travel to Curchorem and Margao.
I request the chairman of K T C and the respective authorities in the Transport Department to consider the issue as most urgent and act in a favorable manner. The students and general public would benefit if regular buses make a round trip from Margao city bus stand via Navelim, Rawanfond circle , Bolshe circle, Arlem circle and back to margao,. As of now no bus transport is available to cover these areas,and general public and students are forced to use their own transport leading to congestion on the city roads.
The government could also think about providing bus for school children from certain locations like Navelim, Borda, Fatorda, Arlem circle, Bolshe Circle, Rawandond circle, Khareband to various schools and colleges as I feel that it will definitely reduce the number of parents dropping their children to the schools.
