Villagers had strongly opposed the bungalow project in Reis Magos. But ignoring all objections, a new project is now being launched under the name of “New Technic” with the support of the Investment Promotion Board.
All rules, regulations, and the views of the villagers have been completely ignored in the name of development and investment. Even though there is no proper infrastructure ” no adequate water supply, electricity, or sanitation ” the administration has allowed the project to go ahead, forcing villagers to suffer.
As the saying goes, “God save the King/Queen.” Another massive project of over 2 lakh sq metres is reportedly planned in Marcela-Cumbarjua. People can only wait and watch.
