The Bharatiya Janata Party has planned to launch the "Saugat-e-Modi" campaign. Special kits will be distributed to Muslims and other minorities during the festive seasons. Such free gift campaigns prove nothing but are a political gimmick. Till today, the BJP leaders were shouting that Hindus are in crisis, now through this campaign, BJP is trying to befriend Muslim community. So, it becomes explicit that this campaign is nothing but a political gimmick to gain votes of Muslim community. At the last assembly election in Maharashtra, Mahayuti alliance had implemented a 'Ladki Bahin' scheme in the wake of the election. The scheme has been steeped in controversy just after Mahayuti came to power. The plans to garner only votes from the public are always deceptive. Such schemes are called 'invitation of liar's home'.
