Govt should solve issue of Paroda river flooding

Since our childhood days we see that when there is heavy rainfall in Goa the Paroda River water rises and the whole area gets flooded and the traffic has to be diverted through Chandor but as the water bodies are blocked by various types of projects Chandor's Cavorim village too gets flooded and it is unsafe to use the internal roads which come under water. Our former  chief minister Manohar Parrikar visited the Paroda bridge and said that his government would solve the issue as soon as possible but didn't solve this issue  and now our present Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has visited the site and inspected the Paroda bridge. Hope at least Sawant government will solve this issue  by providing a permanent solution. Government authorities are taking up projects without giving the way for rain water and most of the water bodies' paths are blocked. We request our CM to solve the issue of Paroda bridge so that in future there will be no need for diverting traffic.
