With the number of crimes increasing day in and day out, the safety of every individual has become a priority. The Margao bus terminal is a place where all sorts of people venture. And therefore it has to be under strict monitoring by authorities. There are usually men standing in groups or sitting in the car who would literally stare at any woman or a young college girl. Eve- teasing is becoming a fashion. Morning is usually the time when women commute to work or college daily and at evening they board their respective buses back home. This unsafe environment makes them feel insecure and helpless at the bus stand. There are domestic tourists who also misbehave thus, creating a unsafe environment at the Margao Kadamba bus terminal. My humble request to the Pink Force is to kindly make frequent and strict patrolling at the Margao bus terminal in order to maintain discipline at the bus stand. I appeal to all women that they should be aware of their surroundings and should also raise voices against violence and eve-teasing.
