The Government announced a marginal hike of 10 to 20 paise per unit of power and surprisingly one Central Minister jumped in fray to instigate the public to score perhaps final political goal of becoming CM of the State. The neighbouring States power tariff is higher than ours yet our tariff is hiked again, but there is no problem with public or other political parties there, accepted coolly by one and all. But here opposition parties need not act; leaders from the ruling party itself are taking the lead to oppose it. Each one is looking for opportunity to pull others down and forget about the opposite side doing their duties. Perhaps the Govt may succumb to the pulls and withdraw the so-called marginal hike and recover it in the form of additional tax. Finally we have to pay it in one form or another. It is hoped ruling party members work in unison for betterment of the State instead of indulging in personal politics of being with public.
