Site near old Sancoale church is Church property

A few non-Goan fanatics belonging to some right wing outfits were seen recently creating a ruckus near the frontispiece of the old Sancoale Church under flimsy excuses and asking the government not to allow the Church to hold its annual novenas & feast of St Joseph Vaz near the Archaeological site by again claiming that the site is originally a old ancient Hindu temple site. Well, the site  near the frontispiece of the old Sancoale church and the surrounding properties too solely belongs to the church as per all legal documents & records in Goa. And this fact has been fully accepted by even the local Hindu brothers from the same area and due to which they have never ever bothered to come out with the above most absurd claims/demands or to reclaim that particular site from the Church at Sancoale. I therefore personally feel that Goans (irrespective of caste, creed and religion) should unitedly come together on one single platform and do 'tadipaar' of such divisive elements for wickedly eyeing the religious structures/properties/sites of others (especially of all the minorities) based on their own imaginary past stories/dreams & for deliberately trying to disturb the centuries old communal harmony of Goa.
