Space for opposition near zero under saffron govt

Strengthening parliamentary democracy demands strengthening of the opposition as well, but diminishing space for counterbalances in legislative bodies has led to laws being passed without detailed deliberations or application of mind. It becomes very difficult for judges to trace the intent of the laws and interpret them. Opposition parties are eyed with extreme hostility  and treated as enemies by the government of the day.  Accountability was sought by the opposition of the sarkar in the good old days of yore but today if you ask a question which is not to the executive's liking, your query could either be stonewalled or worse still you could be suspended from the house. The space for opposition has diminished to almost zero with debate being replaced by acrimony and venom. The opposition is the enemy which needs to be vanquished is the underlying motto of the saffron sarkar and all it's actions inside and outside the Parliament is dictated by this flawed logic. From an 'elected autocracy' we are rapidly transitioning to authoritarianism, if we are not already there.
