Civil society member and social activist Rama Kankonkar has reportedly said that if weak candidates are fielded by the INDIA bloc/opposition parties, then members of Bahujan Samaj will come forward and fight the Lok Sabha elections in Goa. Now, why is Kankonkar suddenly trying to bring Bahujan samaj in this whole entire matter? Or does he wants the Congress to desperately name Girish Chodankar as it's candidate for the South Goa parliamentary seat and somehow wants the BJP candidate to win this particular seat in Goa? Well, if Kankonkar and his other members of the Civil Society group does finally decides to field their own candidates, especially for the South Goa parliamentary seat then they will definitely go to split the secular votes. Kankonkar and the other members of the civil society group should therefore not think of fielding their own candidates because the BJP candidates have always been challenged, if not defeated over the years only after one single opposition parties' supported common candidate has been unleashed, especially for the South Goa parliamentary seat in Goa.
