What about the plight of Hindus in India?

There is a lot of hype being created by the Indian government and on social media about the plight of Hindus in Bangladesh. Narendra Modi himself has raised the matter twice with his Bangladeshi counterpart, Amit Shah ratchets it up by dog whistling that the percentage of Hindu population there has been reduced to 9% today from 27% during partition. Shah brought up the bogey of forced conversions to justify his imaginary numbers and reap electoral dividends here.  First things first, what right does the PM and HM have to talk of Hindus in Bangladesh, it is a direct interference in their internal affairs. Imagine if the Bangladeshi PM speaks about the abomination heaped on Muslims in India and asks our government to protect them, Modi and Shah would be frothing at the mouth. Secondly, a majority of Indian Hindus live in abject poverty, what to speak of the cruelties on SCs and STs. Thirdly why doesn't Modi's heart weep for the flames sweeping Manipur, the plight of displaced Kashmiri pandits or the safety of women ? No, it won't, because the electoral gains to be reaped from it is negligible.
