The work on the Western Byepass slip road near the Zudio showroom on the Khareband-Benaulim road seems to be a neverending nightmare for vehicular and pedestrian traffic alike, on the lines of Smart City Panaji.
To make matters worse, the contractor has piled on laterite blocks, soil, and coarse aggregate along the culvert edge. Bad highway engineering, wrong cambers, and ill-designed directional curves make the junction a heavily accident-prone zone. The project seems to be no one’s baby. Can we hope to see the project completed by Amritkaal 2047? Goa needs to know!!
