The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) has reportedly taken cognisance of the Catholic Association of Goa (CAG) appeal seeking necessary steps to ensure peace and security during the ongoing novenas and the feast of St Joseph Vaz at Sancoale, scheduled on January 16. It should be noted that a member of a right-wing organization in a viral circulated video was heard sternly instructing the Archives & Archaeology employee to stop the novenas and feast of St Joseph Vaz at the frontispiece of Sancoale Church based on his own clumsy assumptions or else to get ready to face dire consequences on this year's feast day itself.
Luckily, a local Hindu brother from Sancoale has daringly filed a police complaint at the Verna police Station against the above mentioned individual and has rightly demanded his immediate arrest for instigating Hindu-Christian religious dis-harmony at Sancoale. I think that the Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, instead of unnecessarily wasting time on discussing PM Narendra Modi's so-called 'security breach' in Punjab should look into this matter on priority basis and direct the police to immediately arrest the above mentioned individual to seriously warn others too to henceforth stop playing their dirty communal hate politics and destroy Hindu-Christian unity for political gains in Goa.
