A wet waste segregation and treatment plant is being built just behind the Benaulim panchayat ghar. The plant has only reached the plinth beam stage, but garbage is found daily stacked against the gate of the plant creating a stink in the middle of a residential area. It was wrong to build such a facility in the village in the first place and what is compounding the problem is the wet garbage dumped here. May I request the panchayat to get it removed at the earliest as it poses health risk to the general public visiting the VP building daily.
