It is verynice to see that the Church authority had extended the cemetery graves by 30 numbers,but sad to see the sorry state of the graves inside the Chandor cemetery. Whenwe go to attend our friends and relatives funeral at many parts of Goa we haveseen that the cemetery graves are well build keeping the space to the people topass by and they are far better than ours. During the rainy season the graveyard mud becomes loose and due to tall grass it is unsafe to go to our lovedones grave to pray. “Aiz Maka Falea Tuka” are the simple Konkani words but yetso powerful it literally translates to, "Today Me Tomorrow You", whichare written on the entrance door of the graveyard. This is our Final Home wherewe all have to go one day leaving behind what belongs to this world as we camein this world with our empty hands and with the empty hands we have to go oneday.
I request the Nossa Senhora de Belem Church, Chandor authority to look intothis matter and make our final house a better place in the interest of public.
