Goa has been always celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi with zeal and enthusiasm. All the family members get together to celebrate this festival which is for one hand half days to 11 days. The Sarvajanik Ganesh is also celebrated by various departments like BSNL, MMC, KTC, Electricity dept, etc. However this Ganesh Chaturthi is going to more special as there was gap of 2 years hit by Covid-19.The family members and children also celebrate Ganesh with firecrackers. The fire department has given some instructions to both family and Sarvajanik Ganesh utsav mandals to take care while burning crackers. Care should be taken to burn crackers carefully. Crackers are also burnt on roadside where vehicles are parked. It is very important to see that crackers are lit near such parked vehicles and also dry bushes. Safe and secure place should be chosen to light crackers as they catch fire immediately. The incharge of Fire brigade department Nitin Raikar has appealed to people to celebrate this festival in a safe manner. Hence it is very important to tell our children as well as youth to burn crackers away from dry grass and parked vehicles. Let us celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi in grand way with all precautions and safety.
