Parking space at a restaurant is a much sought-after thing. But then, is a restaurant necessary in a multi-level parking lot?
The Margao Municipal Council’s multi-level parking project has been in the news for long and for all the wrong reasons. There has reportedly been a proposal to set up a restaurant at the city’s parking project.
However surprisingly no one is assuming responsibility for the mysterious proposal. The issue can be compared to a mystery thriller of a ‘whodunit’.
It seems that a probe has now been demanded by a political party to find out how the proposal has found mention in the project. With no one taking responsibility it’s like a game of ‘passing the parcel’ or rather passing the buck.
Be that as it may, the question that arises is whether a restaurant is needed at a multi-level parking lot. It is learnt that even a wedding hall has reportedly been proposed in the parking project.
If so the multi-level parking project could well be meant for the customers visiting the restaurant and the guest attending a wedding. It could no longer be considered as being built for the use of the general public.
Logically speaking the one who is backing the project could in all probability be the person who has proposed it in the first place.
