The people of Chandor want good hotmixed roads but despite highlighting the issues through social media and media the issue of Chandor and Guirdolim roads are not getting solved. The applications are given in the village panchayat office and copies given in the Chandor Congress office to MLA Yuri Alemao but the action to solve the issue is still kept on hold. The road underbridge and overbridge needs hotmixing and promises of hotmixing after rains are not kept. Looks like the village panchayat is not cooperating with the MLA or maybe the MLA is not interested in taking any responsibility of the work of Chandor and Guirdolim village. The rumours say that in the upcoming election in 2027 Chandor will be coming under Curtorim constituency from Cuncolim, so this can be a reason why MLA Yuri Alemao is not interested to carry out any work in Chandor. The applications of the people are taken for granted and when village panchayat officials are reminded they say it has been passed but the question is when authorities will start the work when it has already been passed?
