Don't fall for gimmicks of North Goa ruling politicians

There is a specific caste in North Goa which generally is a very strong vote bank of the BJP, however with the massive mega projects eg the biggest one now at Bicholim, will these massive land deals all not start displacing these locals from their land; not to mention the other major problems that will come along i.e. pollution, sewage, water issues, destruction of environment, etc.

Now with these specific castes giving a massive margin to BJP in North Goa, the BJP Goa politicians have got even more arrogant and are taking the real estate destruction to an even worse level. I request people (of that specific caste) to take up the interests of Goa and Goans as a priority as against falling for gimmicks of corrupt North Goa politicians/ministers now running the Goa government.

Prices of vegetables skyrocketing again

Once again prices of certain vegetables in Goa have started skyrocketing. The price tag of onions is Rs 55 per kilo, with tomatoes Rs 80 compared to the average rate of Rs 40/50.
