The Forest Minister says there is no non-forest land in Goa so afforestation will be done in MP. In the same breath he says that tree loss for biotic and abiotic reasons accelerates soil erosion, increases flooding, greenhouse gases and ecological degradation. So, how does his plan to grow trees in MP save Goa? There are many places including near the beaches, housing societies, factories, proposed IIT colleges, Dhargal entertainment city etc. where trees can be grown in a planned manner. But all these places he wants to be totally concreted! BJP laws come with loopholes to subvert the same!
Similarly, the BJP has come out with a list of ‘unparliamentary words’ which actually accurately describe the BJP PM and MPs because of their ridiculous actions and policies. It is therefore evident that the BJP knows fully well that they are in the wrong. The BJP has not spelt out the costs of degrading the environment for the proposed IIT! The anti-IIT farmers must check the other land ownership as huge tracts of farm land have been purchased by NCP and BJP Central MLAs.
