Goa saw another attack on professionals when advocate Gajanan Sawant of North Goa was attacked by policemen. It is learnt that the advocate was attacked by policemen with influence of family members in civil case of flat. The association of legal bar council has demanded thorough action and four cops have been suspended for the incident. As per supporters of the attacked lawyer he was never the attacker or fighter but contrary is calm and sober in nature. The family members on other hand say that advocate first attacked the cops and while running away from the scene fell down and got hurt. As per the lawyer's supporters the complaint was not registered and advocate was kept seated at police station for five hours and was registered only after his advocate filed an FIR. The whole matters looks to be confusing as nobody has seen any video or footage of the incident. The issue will be clear only after the enquiry and report, till then one has to keep their fingers crossed.
