Never before had I seen such a massive protest by Goans. I am immensely amazed and happy that Goans are protesting tooth and nail against the draconian policies of the government to go ahead with the projects which are very detrimental to Goa's environment, economic and social status.
In the beginning I thought the Chief Minister was doing a good job despite being a wild card candidate. But now I am constrained to accept that he is not capable to take wise decisions and neither does he care to listen to the people.
One thing is very clear, the people will not give into the dictat and neither will trust the ruling dispensation in the future. The government has self inflicted the irreparable damage to their party's image. Neither the Congress nor NCP can be trusted. Goans are going to change the future course by choosing a new and different party.
Kudos to the Goans for the spirited fight. Amchem Goem amkam zai and we do not want politicians to consider the people of Goa as idiots.
