Land scam probe in right direction


The CM convening a high level meeting to probe the land scam is in right direction. All fraudulent inventory proceedings are invariably challenged in civil courts and some of those which have come to light may be just the tip of the Iceberg. 

The root cause lies with inventory proceedings or successions deeds. The inventory court relies on entry made in Form I & XIV and the Mamlatdar relies on mutation proceedings or successions deeds to delete the existing names or to include the names as per the fraudulent chart of allotment.

The police investigations are biased or politically motivated. In the end, the matter ends up in court to decide on their own fraudulent orders in inventory court which otherwise ought to have filed before the appellate court ie District Court or High Court.

As per a news report the recently retired Chief Justice of India (CJI) has allegedly retained 28 of his previous 40 employees. It seems that retired CJIs can have up to 3 employees. One fails to see the reason for this necessity. When government employees get only pension then how is that some are entitled to certain perks?
