The green revolution, IT industries, aerospace, rocket science, industrial revolution, etc initiated in the past have catapulted us as a super power in the company of some powerful countries. Upliftment of almost half population above poverty line having basic necessities like food, water, electricity, etc shows the nation is moving in the direction it wants to head and excel. Secularism and freedom to profess those ideals have progressed. Green revolution has imparted growth to the extent that the nation has become a net exporter. Pharmaceutical industries have developed and have also seen the country export medicines. There are no signs of strain on fiscal deficits in yearly budgets. Reserves of foreign exchange are at comfortable levels. Banking industry is well developed, so also insurance institutions are afloat and brimming with confidence. Agriculturists are striving to make progress with new ways of enhancing yields.
