The Margao Municipal Council building will be completing 118 years and the building is waiting for a fresh coat of paint. The daily wages LCD staff and workers who are working in the MMC for the past more than 15 years are still not yet made permanent. The government of Goa has to do its best to see that the daily wages LCD staff and workers get their rights to be made permanent and BJP government MLAs can do it by raising the issue in the Goa assembly session. All the maintenance of the building should be taken care of to keep the historical building safe. The unwanted files, furniture and e-waste should be removed from the MMC passage and office premises.
Hope the government of Goa, DMA, Margao MLA Digambar Kamat and the counsellors will solve the issues which are pending for years and celebrate the 118 yrs of MMC giving best service to the citizens.
