In Pakistan, most prime ministers have been removed either through extra-constitutional or extra-parliamentary means. Two have been ousted by judicial action. But there has not been any instance of a prime minister having been removed through a vote of no-confidence. However, Imran Khan fought till the last -- deserves the best actor award for best performance to save his chair. The dramatic action of waving a threat letter in his support and claiming a foreign hand for his ouster was like thinking one step ahead. Imran Khan had a life of contrasts and contradictions --- not forgetting his playboy status. He has been exposed as a corrupt and dishonest political conman. And his badly timed visit to Russia amid the Ukraine crisis has cost him dearly. This also exposed his poor leadership credentials.
