Probe needed into govt lapses during Covid pandemic

It is true that Covid-19 caught many governments unprepared but also many governments were also found to be complacent about the same; with certain politicians clearly failing in their basic duties as a result of which many people unnecessarily died. Take for example the UK where at the moment a Covid-19 inquiry is going on, as against India and Goa particularly where the possibility of a fair inquiry will be resisted by corrupt Indian or Goan politicians.  In fact, the Indian government with all agencies/media under their control have deliberately misrepresented the details about the way the Covid-19 pandemic was handled in India and Goa in particular. So many basics were missing in a small state like Goa at that time like oxygen supply, for which the health minister was responsible for the way the suppliers were organized. These politicians are sort of left off the hook to now move on to more cases of undesirable governance, destruction and corruption.  No wonder India is getting worse rankings by the year on its democratic standards.
