I have already requested PWD several times to rectify these chambers which are badly designed as the mud or even small tiny bottles and plastic enters into these existing holes which CCP staff cannot supervise round the clock. I have requested to inspect all these chambers which are on line upto Miramar. The level with the road is not adjusted well during repairs as vehicles while passing over it experience bumpy ride. These plates must be modified so that for at least 2 years CCP department need not have to carry a maintenance on these chambers. What is the fun if these are open constantly for maintenance and creating haphazard to all vehicular traffic including pedestrians ? See the picture of chamber plate how it looks now after the contractor was trying to close it on May 11 late evening. I have written to the Commissioner, CCP for swift action in this regard. This is urgently required as the situation has worsened.
