A prominent religious leader after returning from the inaugural ceremony of the Ram temple at Ayodhya was seen openly instigating our Hindu brothers in Panaji right in front of media persons. He gave his distorted lessons on some weapons and indirectly advised them to use these weapons against all those (minorities to be precise) found coming their way to defend their religion in Goa/India.
If such a similar statement were made by any other religious leader, especially a Catholic priest or a Muslim mullah, fanatics belonging to all right-wing groups would have created a big 'hungama' outside most police stations. They would have filled their FIRs and demanded the immediate arrest of such a religious leader in the State for unnecessarily creating communal tensions by issuing such a senseless statement in front of his devotees/supporters in Goa.
Well, if this religious leader wants to show that he's truly a follower of Lord Ram, he should dare to openly raise his voice against the ongoing destruction of the State. He should speak against the filth of drugs, casinos, prostitution, and the free availability of alcohol, instead of unnecessarily instigating all his die-hard followers/supporters by issuing senseless statements with the sole intention of spreading hatred against minorities and playing dirty communal politics to enjoy his 'ache din' in Goa.
