Two students raising slogans, Jai Shriram and Bharatmata ki Jai, on the premises of Jagannathpur Government Polytechnic College were suspended and another student was rusticated from the college. Also, as a punishment, around 500 Hindu students were denied food. The above news has been reported by Jagaran, a Hindi newspaper. On the 2nd of April, 2022, the students had gathered on the terrace of the hostel of Jagannathpur Government Polytechnic College to celebrate the first day of Hindu New Year. Few students raised slogans of Jai Shriram and Bharatmata ki Jai during the celebrations. This infuriated students from a certain so-called secular community. Is Jharkhand in India or Pakistan? Why weren’t the students of JNU, who raised anti-India slogans, punished and rusticated from the college? The management of the government college which dismissed students for raising slogans of Jai Shriram may grant permission for namaz in the college to appease religious fanatic students or for even their fanatic activities.
Responsibility of film directors
Films are a medium that has a profound and immediate effect on society. People understand the reality of life as shown in the movies. So what to project in the movies? This is a big responsibility of film directors. In the last few decades, however, many directors have not maintained this social consciousness, especially portraying Hindus in a negative light. The virtual world created by movies does not convey the reality to the people.
