Suddenly Curtorim leader Moreno Rebello, who joined the BJP some 20 days back, is feeling suffocated in the saffron party. In the days leading up to the Goa Assembly Elections 2022, we Goans will be treated to more tear-jerking episodes and emotional dramas as politicians huff and puff to justify their actions. Poor Moreno Bab joins Goa BJP amidst much fanfare. In less than 20 days the enlightenment dawns upon him that the party that he has joined is anti-minorities. Oh really? Before joining any party leaders hold discussions with their supporters. They take decisions based on their supporters’ collective wishes. After joining the party they feel suffocated and listen to their inner voice. That said, Goa BJP has never pretended to be pro minorities. It believes in the slogan “Sab Ka Saath, Sab Ka Vikas, Sab Ka Vishwas”. Now, who are these “sab”? We all know the answer. Then why this preening and posturing?
