A traffic signboard existing adjacent to the pavement opposite Heritage Princes building near old bus-stand in Ponda has been totally covered with branches of an adjoining tree.
The signboard is unnoticeable for travellers proceeding along this strategic location. In fact it was installed for instructing travellers not to park their vehicles at this strategic area.
With the said signboard hiding inside the branches, travellers park here from time to time. Not only two-wheelers, but even cars are being parked with great ease.
In the process, vehicular traffic proceeding along the main road gets disturbed to a great extent. During peak hours there is every possibility of traffic congestion taking place thereby causing inconvenience for travellers.
The concerned authority must take a note of the above and arrange immediate trimming of branches of the said tree covering this particular signboard so that the necessary instruction prescribed over it is clearly visible for passersby.
