Unnecessary expenditure from public exchequer

This digging work above 4 metres deep is going on in Dona Paula purely in the interest of Joe Mathias high rise building where a big diameter cable is being routed from the NIO circle. In fact this demand for such a diameter cable after the government has spent crores of rupees  was not required for the other construction coming up including existing buildings but this demand was approved on account of this high consumption of power for this building. If the authorities had not given approval for  such a construction probably a smaller diameter size cable would have been sufficient thus saving funds of public exchequer. Government must be clear what maximum height of constructions can come up not only in Dona Paula but the whole of Panaji. A good planning from NGPDA and CCP is a must, otherwise the situation will be alarming as unnecessary funds would be wasted. Now just because of this huge building the huge cable is made to run after breaking the footpaths on both the sides for which money was already been spent earlier.
