Whilst I appreciate the SIT campaign on investigating land grabbing cases, I was not too pleased with the statement that lands with no legal heirs will pass on to the government. We all know how corrupt the politicians are who will use it to their benefit and to destroy Goa further. Why can't this land be placed in some sort of environmental trust; to grow trees, large parks and other environmentally friendly but sustainable developments for public use?
