Goa has apparently completed more than 100% vaccination of the first dose. The exact number from the Chief Minister Pramod Sawant is 102% i.e. 11.88 lakh vaccinated out of an eligible 11.66 lakh people. The extra two per cent comes from vaccinated foreigners, tourists and migrant workforce. Should we believe this? Or just take it has a farce?
Announcing these over- the-top miscalculated stats is the last thing Goans want right now. This false show off is unnecessary. The government could have used this time into promoting vaccination against Covid and making it easier for people throughout Goa to get the jabs instead of spitting such exaggerated figures. We all know the actual vaccination scene and that there are many people are still remaining to get their first vaccination dose. Throwing a 102% by the government is only making a fool of themselves. Focus on the process not the show. The 'actual' results will speak for itself.
