In the demise of Prof Carmo D’Souza we have lost an outstanding educator. As our Professor at the VM Salgaocar College of Law, he always made time for his students and dedicatedly guided us through the complex labyrinths of law and jurisprudence. Prof Carmo D’Souza was ever so very humble and down to earth, never failing to greet us all students with a genuine smile. A wealth of knowledge he was. His passion for research was remarkable, and he truly excelled in it. It is in fitness of things that our former Law College principal Marian Pinheiro has taken the initiative to perpetuate the memory of Prof Carmo D’Souza and we as students of the now departed great teacher should rise to the occasion in true tribute to someone who educated us with zeal and care. May the life and works of Prof Carmo D’Souza act as a role model to all those aspiring to be teachers. Rest in peace Sir, we will live to your expectations and forever cherish the knowledge and values you imparted to us.
