The Aivao village has a significant number of vehicles, and the traffic is highly congested. This congestion arises because the housing is closely packed, leaving very little space for their vehicles to access the main road easily. This situation has persisted for a long time, but the authorities have struggled to find a solution. Slowly, this area has become increasingly unsuitable for the residents to use as their village playground, leading them to search for an alternative location near Caranzalem Park. The adjacent area has seen the development of water sports activities, and a considerable number of buildings have sprouted up. Unfortunately, the Aivao children had no influence, as their village lacked influential patrons to preserve their ancestral area.
Now the situation has worsened, as vehicular traffic coming from Dona Paula converges at this circle, where four other outlets exist to access it. One route is from Dona Paula, the second is for residents from the upper side of the village, the third is from Caranzalem village itself, the fourth is from the main road coming from Panaji, and the fifth is from Aivao village itself. People residing in Aivao village have long struggled to maneuver their vehicles to and from this circle, and now the water sports complex has expanded, with more buildings pushing it to its saturation point (photo enclosed). The authorities, especially the CCP (Corporation of the City of Panaji), must come to the aid of the Traffic Cell department to manage this deteriorating situation, which is worsening day by day. Action is needed to clear this area before severe accidents occur at this circle.
