The inauguration of the Ram temple at Ayodhya is slated to be in early 2024 before the general elections which is definitely a milestone for the BJP. It is the temple movement that shaped the BJP's rise to the largest political party in the world, it is a promise to build a temple at the disputed site has been the saffron promise in1980. Now, once the issue fades away, I wonder what next for the BJP ! In the first place it should never have been political issue. Ram resides in the hearts of all Hindus and he will continue to. I fail to understand why people are so emotional about the Ram temple in Ayodhya. It is just another temple but the emotion may be because of the birth place of Lord Ram. Also why isn't anyone talking about the construction of mosque in Ayodhya? In fact mosque and the temple should have been opened at the same time. That is the spirit of secular democracy, many may not agree to this suggestion but let's hope better sense prevails.
