It is often observed that heavy vehicles that come to deliver goods to companies often park in any open space available along the roads. Apart from traffic bottlenecks, this leads to a lot of inconvenience to residents in and around the area.
A case in point is the road along the Dona Paula circle. Often there are heavy vehicles parked along the road especially near the slope as the road is quite broad.
Residents here have been complaining to authorities almost every day with no action from them.
Traffic police and the RTO should ensure that such heavy vehicles are not permitted to park in residential areas for long hours. Additionally, no parking signboards or heavy vehicles not allowed should be installed.
