From opposite the Tar Bridge Mapusa it is a two-way road, one leaves the city to different destination and other enters; the two-way road was divided with metal dividers which was sponsored by casinos. These metal dividers often are fallen down at some parts by wind or by stray animals and causing road hazards to motorists and some two wheelers use to cross mid way from one side to other means deliberately causing hindrances to other motorists. But, nobody used to put the divider in place.
The Village Panchayat of Bastora in the interest of public motoring safety had constructed a laterite stone road divider and a traffic circle at Moira junction. The other Village Panchayats should emulate their good work.
But, it has also been noticed one side of the road where there are shops, there is ankle deep water logging which causes inconvenience to the shoppers and pedestrian.
The Village Panchayat of Bastora should also take up and resolve the water logging work which will surely earn them plaudits from public.
