Benaulim beach turning into dump yard


The pristine Benaulim beach has become a crowded mess now with the water sports operators using every inch of the sand for parking their boats, scooters, parachutes and other miscellaneous stuff.

The shack operators encroach upon the sand by laying out tables and private gazebos, whatever's left is for the fishermen to utilise for 

their vessels and nets. 

Add to that feral dogs, general squalor and haphazardly placed dustbins and the beach starts to resemble a dump yard. 

Would the panchayat authorities look into the matter to straighten things out?

Democracy in India and our State is in turmoil due to defections encouraged by all political parties as the means to retain power through back door when mandate is lost.Anti-Defection Law has become redundant due to circumventing and parties subverting norms to hold to power.
