Finally, BJP bosses decided to present the highest civilian award -- Bharat Ratna -- to L K Advani.
Advani's contribution to Indian politics cannot be just forgotten. His ideology of Hindutva and work is incredible. Advani started his public service as RSS karyakarta and rose to become the party president. He was very active during the tenure of Vajpayee.
His vision was to have Ram temple at Ayodhya which is no more a dream but reality. His Rath Yatra in 1990 was one of the memorable moments to spread awareness of Ram temple.
His contribution in Shilanyas and spreading Hindutva as a way of life is one of the important contribution in India.
Today he may not be active in politics but his vision and ideology towards the Hindu rashtra and Ram rajya cannot be ignored.
Conferring Bharat Ratna is welcome move by the BJP government.
