Push of EVs a commendable step

In order to conserve the environment, the government has laid great stress on all the government vehicles to be electric. Therefore, the vehicle policy has been changed as per the approval given by the finance department.

It is reported that permission Chief Minister, Dy Chief Minister, Governor,  Cabinet Ministers and Chief Secretaries can also buy electric vehicles costing up to 25 lakhs.

Other top government officials are also entitled to buy electric vehicles.

This first move of the government is a step in the right direction as it will not only help in reducing pollution, but will also increase the demand for electric cars.

Even today in many cities people are showing preference for electric cars instead of petrol and diesel. These changes are welcome.

The prices should also be low so that consumers can buy electric vehicles easily.
