CHOGM road stretch giving nightmares for motorists

The entire CHOGM road stretch starting from Porvorim O’Coqueiro junction and heading up-to the Sangolda Lightning Club area is currently giving nightmares for motorists (which includes locals living in the same area) as the same has been fully vandalised by the Sewerage and Infrastructure Development Corporation of Goa Limited (SIDCGL) at the behest of the government in the name of carrying some underground repairs/laying sewerage pipeline network and has been kept in the most horrible un-repaired condition since the last so many months for the people to suffer in Goa. Today, motorists, as well as the locals living there are seen practically facing dust, experiencing constant traffic jams every few metres on this particular road stretch and are finding it very difficult to even navigate through this fully damaged road. Why can't the government divert the traffic going to Panaji via the interior roads of Sangolda or via the Pilerne-Betim road at least during peak hours to keep the above mentioned Chogm road stretch fully free from constant traffic jams and to give some relief/solution for motorists who are heading towards Sangolda, Saligao, Mapusa, Calangute and other beach belt areas of Goa?  I think that the government of the day should get its things done more professionally or else should stop collecting all the various types of taxes from motorists for giving them some deadly horrible roads.
