CM must review Transport Minister’s performance

Two ministries in the Goa Government that are seriously mismanaged and show signs of very poor governance are A) the Transport Ministry and B) the Panchayat Ministry. The Transport Ministry is failing with respect to the high rate of accidents, poor quality of roads/road signs, traffic management issues, and inadequate transport infrastructure/connectivity in the state.

Panchayats have now come to prominence as hotbeds of corruption, poor service, numerous illegalities, lack of proper procedures, terrible waste management, poor upkeep of village infrastructure, environmental violations, etc. All of these fall under the Transport/Panchayat Minister, whose only visible productivity seems to be in welcoming VIPs and top central politicians/judges to Goa.

I am sure that many Goans will support my views on this matter! Can I request the Goa Chief Minister to conduct a proper review of this minister and, hopefully, replace him with someone at least minimally competent? Also, needless to say, reviews should be held for other ministers, if the Chief Minister has the ability to do so. Otherwise, I see no respect for the CM’s chair as a fair authority for good governance.
