The news report ‘Porvorim turns danger zone’ (TGE, November 16) is a damning indictment of the shoddy planning and execution of the elevated highway under construction in Porvorim. There is nothing more that can be said, except that Porvorim is now going the way of the Panaji Smart City project. One wonders what the fate of Porvorim will be during the forthcoming Christmas and New Year festivals. It is sad that the PWD and government engineers have not learnt from their past mistakes.
