The law and order situation under the Pramod Sawant-led BJP government has totally collapsed in Goa. In fact, we are currently being bombarded every morning with news headlines of rapes, robberies, murders, sexual assault cases etc on a daily basis in Goa. Unfortunately, the Goa police have not been heard of cracking a single case thoroughly or giving harsh punishment for those guilty but have only been closing most cases (including rape cases) at the behest of some politicians and allowing all culprits involved in such cases to roam scot-free in Goa. I therefore personally feel that CM Sawant (of Bhivpachi Garaz Na fame and who also holds the Home portfolio) should emulate Portugal's Health Minister Martha Temido and immediately resign for having failed miserably in controlling the crime rate & for officially turning this tiny state into another lawless state like Uttar Pradesh by deliberately going soft on all the neighbouring notorious anti-social elements in Goa.
