The condition of most interior village roads in the state have really gone from bad to worse with just a few continuous heavy showers of one month in the ongoing monsoons in Goa. In fact, most of them have already developed massive potholes right in the middle and become very dangerous for motorists to use these roads in Goa. The one thing I really don't understand is that why the government always allows its contractors to start digging roads only after they are hotmixed/restored and to damage them in the name of laying some underground cables here & there in most parts of Goa. And why some of them are dug even in the monsoons in Goa. I therefore think that if the government is really not interested in keeping it's word of providing some decent long-lasting roads in the state even in the near future then it should immediately stop unnecessarily collecting all the various types of taxes from all the motorists and making their life miserable by giving them some 'bhure din' or most horrible days.
