Contract staff must be regularised


With elections round the corner, ministers and MLAs have already created a strong vote bank in their constituencies. The Opposition’s cry for some of their resignations is futile. 

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant should take action if there is any credible proof against these tainted MLAs and ministers.

Also, before declaration of election dates for Goa by Election Commission, it would be in the fitness of things if all contract staff that have put in 3-5 years and gained experience are regularised rather than appointing new staff.

By doing so many families will stand to benefit.
