The PWD has laid down strips as speed breakers on Goan highways to limit the speed but this speed breakers has caused many accidents many fatal.
Some have lost their lives and limbs and also causing inconvenience to ladies especially pregnant ladies who even had a fall while negotiating the strips and even there were breakdown of two wheelers and the commuters of two wheelers have been experiencing severe neck problems and sever back aches due to the strips like speed breakers.
If the government had consulted the neurosurgeons they would have been against the strips as they are causing severe neck related ailments such as spondylitis and slip disc.
I humbly request the Goa government and the PWD officials to remove the speed breaker strips immediately from all highways to save the public commuting public on two wheelers on daily basis and lay speed breakers which are less hazardous to human life.
Hope the concerned authorities and the government do the necessary at the earliest to save public from suffering of loosing their precious lives commuting on this dangerous strips to slow down the vehicular traffic on highways.
